DEFINITE ARTICLE OF ADJECTIVES – ×ËÅÍÓÂÀÍÅ ÍÀ ÏÐÈËÀÃÀÒÅËÍÈÒÅ
| When the adjective qualifies a noun, which has a definite article, the adjective takes the article! |
I. Definite article of masculine adjectives
Masculine adjectives add the endings -èÿ, -èÿò.

The adjectives ending in –è in masculine add the endings -ÿ, -ÿò.
| ãðàäñêè | ãðàäñêèÿ | ãðàäñêèÿò |
The rule about using the complete article (-ÿò, -èÿò) is the same as for the nouns - if the adjective qualifies the subject in the sentence or when it is the subject itself*, then the complete article is used.

Examples:

II. Definite article of feminine adjectives
Feminine adjectives add the ending
-òà to the feminine form.| feminine form | form with definite article |

| ãðàäñêà | ãðàäñêàòà |
Examples:
| Òîâà å ìàñàòà. | This is the table. |
| Òîâà å äúðâåíàòà ìàñà. | This is the wooden table. |

III. Definite article of neuter adjectives
Neuter adjectives add the ending
-òo to the neuter form.| neuter form | form with definite article |

Examples:
| Ìîì÷åòî ïëóâà â ìîðåòî. | The boy swims in the sea. |
| Ìîì÷åòî ïëóâà â ñèíüîòî ìîðå. | The boy swims in the blue sea. |

IV. Definite article of plural adjectives
Adjectives in plural add the ending -

Wrong:
Òîâà å íîâà êúùàòà.| 1 |
| !!!Important: Never put the definite article on both the adjective and the noun!!! |
Wrong:
Òîâà å íîâàòà êúùàòà.| 1 |
When there is more than one adjective, only the first one takes the definite article.
Òîâà å õóáàâàòà, íîâà, áÿëà êúùà. This is the beautiful new white house.
